Yesterday my best friend got broken up with so we got up early and ran away to the nearest beach. It was raining and Bansky's Dismaland was completely sold out so we couldn't even cheer ourselves up through more sadness. Instead we ate towers of pasta and took instax by the sea which was the same colour as the sand. #Westonsupermud

On Saturday I was nursing the 2nd of a two day hangover and my boyfriend, who used to do sound for Gaslight, swung us guest list and they sorted us these sweet VIP passes which meant we got the best seats for the show and then hung out until the early hours of the morning. Also met Laura Jane Grace from Against Me! in real life after returning each others likes on Instagram for months - a hungover Ellie does not make good conversation however. Shame it was the last gig for the Gaslight guys for a while, and also a shame I wasn't at Reading but this was much more personal.
Every time I go to a gig I promise myself I'll go to more in the future. Is anyone going to any cool gigs in the near future?
