I am always overconfident when exercising. I can do a lot at the time, but afterwards I pay for it severly. This weekend I ran about 4 miles and followed that up the next day with a 45 minute riding lesson. My legs are in so much pain right now. So I'm sitting at my desk as much as possible to avoid moving too much. But of course I'm probably going to be at the gym tomorrow or Tuesday because I'm a glutton. Don't feel too sorry for me.
Today is a crucial day. I'm revising my thesis right now, which is due next Monday. I'm writing about Spike Lee and how he uses sound (specifically score) in He Got Game, Summer of Sam and Bamboozled. Anyway, now that I've made all these claims and grand statements, it could all be shattered. He's speaking tonight at a local college and I am terrified he's going to say something to nullify everything I've been working on for the past YEAR. Everyone else is really excited for me that he's here and how cool that is, blah, blah, blah. It is very cool, but also really scary. As if this whole process isn't nerve racking enough. Oh well.
