I want to write something that serves a purpose far beyond the earning of a paycheck or feeling of "release." It may be a speech, novel, essay, maybe even a simply phrase. I want to impress myself (seeing as how I'm my own harshest critic). I want that sense of gratification, satisfaction even pride found in the creation of an exceptional piece of prose. I'm not quite there... yet.

I want to get high on my own writing.
