I started the new job today. I get the feeling that it's going to be an ok gig. Something permanent? Probably not. I don't see myself there for decades, but for a couple of years? Maybe.
I'll basically be receiving and forwarding email to the proper people and channels. It actually is more complicated than it sounds. There's like ten computer programs that I have to use all at once. So confusing, at least at first.
One thing that I don't think I'm going to like about this job is that I'm working with all women. I'm used to guys. I'm used to being the only girl around a bunch of guys. I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle the nuances of sugar-coating and small talk when I'm used to straight-shooting.
Whatever happens, it's better than being unemployed and punding the pavement. Cross your fingers that this one lasts, folks.

Re: feeling like a peeping Tom for watching the videos -- that's really interesting. I hadn't thought about that. Would you mind elaborating? Specifically, why do videos give you that vibe when pictures (presumably) don't?
