Hello one and all
During these months of unemployment, which have growing ever longer, I have been spending a lot of my time watching movies.
Over this time something has been lingering on my mind...Why after over a decade of the widescreen television and "home cinema systems", which has now gone into the high definition, has there still not been one True cinematic widescreen television?
Is it not defeating the point of a widescreen television, that when you watch of movie you still get a letter box effect on the top and bottom of your screen, therefore not actually getting the full home cinematic effect this technology is meant to provide?
If I am wrong, and there has been a cinematic widescreen television (especially in high definition), please let me know who makes them and where I can them?
Until next time

Nevermind, I have been informed of one. Now I just need to get myself a job, sell my current TV, and buy this one (or the later version)

Hmm. On that site they are illuminating the background when you view it 21:9, but not when you view it 16:9. I mean I know all advertising uses these tricks and the 21:9 probably does look better, but I still think it's naughty.
