Hello one and all
I have been having one of those life contemplation mornings.
I know most people say, "I am never going to drink again" after a bad drunken night out, which is followed by an equally bad hangover and the generally feeling of crappiness but I am genuinely thinking about begining to live a straight edge lifestyle.
Nothing good seems to come from drinking. You spend loads of money per drink/round, do stupid things that normally you wouldn't even contemplate, have the overwhelming urge to stuff your face with unhealthy greasy food (even if you had food before going out), say stupid things to people close to you, and (as previously mentioned) you feel like shit the following day.
Now I know being straight edge doesn't just mean not drinking alcohol but also not doing drugs. This would be easy, as I so rarely do drugs and that's often when I am also drinking, that it would not take much to give them up all together.
One concern I have is I am partial to a can of Sugar Free Red Bull, which as we all know is packed with chemicals, and I don't know if that works into the lifestyle. I don't want to class myself as living the lifestyle only to be mockingly proven wrong...might as well get drunk and make a tit out of myself that way.
On a random note, I do like blogging. It's like having your very own pensieve, freeing your mind, getting out all those things weighing on your mind.
Until next time
