So, I'm moving to Philadelphia. After a year on my own it will suck to live with parents again no matter how short the duration, but it will be worth it for a fresh start in a new, bigger city. New England has run it's course for me. So now is the process of throwing away/giving away/selling everything i can't mail in advance or fit...

Might have to give up my car as a quick fix to financial problems - the monthly payment and insurance is only $100 less than my rent! On the other hand, my lease is up in a month so I would much rather find roommates to live with so I can pay a little less rent and keep the car. It's all contingent upon getting...

Phone courtesy - When you have a guest and the phone rings, do you answer it? If you do, how long do you talk to them before saying "I have company" or do you even say it?

Personally, I don't think you have to answer it, unless you don't want the answering machine to pick up or whatever. And if you do, I think it's...

I always keep the ringer switch off...If it is an important call,
I will call them back.

I don't think a ringing phone demands instant attention.

Perspective. It kicks you in the ass sometimes.

Tonight is a good night. The Red Sox won the pennant and I realized that I need to take control of my own life :-D how corny is that.

I've been in a weird downward spiral for a month now, despite good points, I've been goind down and blaming other people for it. I talked to a...

Perspective can change everything.
Im pleased that the Red sox made you realize that you want to control your life. I know it need to take control my life, its just that I think I miss placed the remote control. The thing Im starting to notice is that I live through or for other people. Im not sure if that makes sense but thats how I feel.
Im starting to notice that we have some things in common, we are both bad friends. I seem to think that most of my friends are disposable. They have this little odometer on the base of there neck and soon as they reach 10,000 mile its time to replace them. Its not a good way to be. So, much like you, Im going to be working harder at being a good friend.
Well, I hope you have a safe drive to Philly. With any luck you wont get caught in crazy traffic. Last time me and my ex-girlfriend drive to PA we got trapped in CT traffic for like an hour and a half because of little car accident.

It's a full count with two outs in the ninth inning and two men on base. I have no idea who is pitching for the red sox right now but he better damn well close this game NOW!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jesus christ. I really needed that. I will now cancel intended rant and go to sleep happy.

anyone want to watch game 7 with me?

If you know that your relationship is so shitty, why are you still in it. I know if care for that person it makes things hard, but if the relationship is shitty with no sighs of improvement, then you should leave it. Why is it so easy to tell someone else this but you can never do it your self?
Thanks for the link to the music, it was great. I downloaded it all. Im just amazed at the odds of you having the link to that music. Its great how some things like that work out.

WOW, i'm guessing your a big sports fan.

I remember Loveline. On the radio. It is of course still on the radio, but I remember listening to it in junior high, and feeling very naughty. I also remember the two or three weeks before high school on the wrong side off the country I spent searching the airwaves in vain for a station that played it because it would be something grounding me...

back in town again, vacation was fun and family filled, only mildly stressful. back in the little closet again, with no mind numbing work as a distraction. I'm welcome to return to 12 hr days and constantly dirty hands, but I'm determined to find a more suitable job before sinking back on old standbys. Today was spent at a school at the gym and at...

Send In The Clowns, indeed. "Isn't it rich, isn't it queer?" It isn't my favorite Frank Sinatra song, but my iPod is on scramble so it'll do for now (is "it'll" actually a contraction, I can't remember?)

It's funny even in my vodka'd to the brim state, I can remember to worry about grammar. I am drunk to a point, but I don't care, but...

I'm okay with happy-for-now; time limits work for me. Goal is set - when lease is up in december, I'm moving to Philadelphia. Thus, no need to be melodramatic about relationship, just enjoy it... no need to worry about it's end, because I know it's going to. Just not now, four months from now. Maybe I am a control freak for being able to enjoy...

thngs well. boy (er, man. yeah ok) good :o) work sucks, but it's money. a combination of honor and greed is keeping me there for the next two weeks to ensure I get both tuition reimbursement and my first monthly bonus, and continue efforts to "train" imbecilic new boss. Almost quit today two weeks early but he was too pathetic to leave alone. last week...

Its hard to work in a place were the Boss doesnt truly know how things work. I last Boss I had relied on everyone else to do her job. Then when the kitchen was short my Boss would try to help, it only made me want to smack her with her own shoe that much more. Sorry for the pointless story, I just know how it feels to work under a complete idiot.
