Hey guys!
Haven’t posted a @bloghomework in a while... I’m not even sure if @rambo or @missy ever had this as a topic... but yeah here’s my question: Did you guys reach a point in your adult life where you actually felt to be a grown up?
Because I don’t... I mean yes I become wiser, probably more relaxed about a couple things, older for sure, but sometimes I see and meet people that are so serious about their adulthood, they completely forgot how it was to be a child, what fun was like and to a certain extent carelessness...
And yes I get it, while you grow up everyone has to face some serious shit and some of it is so serious it makes you really sad for a while - but then again you remember the trust you had in the world that everything will be good again one day...
I actually think having that faith, enjoying small moments of happiness and doing silly childish stuff can help going through those periods: stay up all night, eat ridiculous amounts of candy, play with mud and get your hands dirty, go skinny dipping, dance to loud music all by yourself, don’t care too much what other people might think about you, but still care with kindness about others!
So what is it that makes some of us so serious grown ups?
Honestly life is too short to be constantly angry, feel hate, wait for something big to happen, always stick 100% to the rules, wait for retirement, be stiff...
So let’s inspire each other to not completely loose our inner child - what was a completely childish thing you did lately but it brought a perfect moment of happiness to your life?
