Spent Thursday night celebrating one of my closest friend's exit from the horror that is the teenage years...
Shes the youngest out of our crowd, the last to turn 20, and the last birthday before we seperate across the country again in September, so everyone worked their asses off to get the night off from respective employers and get heinously drunk.
By 9 we'd worked our way through every drinking game the rugby team has ever taught me, and the entire pit and pendulum cocktail menu, so we made a (slightly twisted) walk across the square to the guest of honours favourite dingy cocktail bar, and to our favourite club. The club in question, Rock city, is possibly the only club i could ever dance all night in, despite it's recent inexorible decline into the world of the mainstream. I'm trying to avoid the inevitable rant as i do Love that club, however gym class heroes and dizzee rascal are about as rock and roll as my nan, and if i wanted to listen to that kind of music i could go,well, anywhere else in Notts.
Still ,over all a fantastic night, which ended with us playing with poi in the fountains after all the clubs closed, and with me having to stay at my mates because i lost my bastard keys D'oh!
