Today was much the opposite of my last entry. As soon as I got home from my doctor's visit, I had to head right back out again.
I got to walk the dog to the vet and back, to find out he has conjuctivitis in both of his eyes. It's nothing serious, though. The trick is trying to get the antibiotic goop into his eyes twice a day. Poor baby. I should post a picture of him. He's too cute not to share. I'm even taking him out next week to be evaluated as a candidate for doing pet therapy work.
No, I am not taking my dog to a shrink. (I've been asked that twice so far when I've mentioned the upcoming eval.) He's going to be introducted to the trainer for the Good Dog Foundation:
The Good Dog Foundation
If he's suitable, I'll get to train him to go out on theraputic visits to pediatric wards, geriatric hospital/day care, all sorts of psychiatric hospitals and various other places like Gilda's Club and Bailey House.
I'm hoping he gets accepted, because in addition to sharing the light of my life with people and exposing him to extra affection & attention, I'm a Social Sciences major at NYU, so volunteer work will look good on my eventual application to NYU's School of Social Work.
Okay, I am still getting used to the journaling thing, so I think I may have rambled on a bit here. Nobody here knows me well enough to care about my dog...YET. Moo-ha, moo-ha.

I looked at your page. That's some really beautiful sculpture and design work.
