Ok. I'm like, THE WORST SELFIE TAKER EVER. I mean, i have nothing aganist selfies, it's even fun and everything... But, idk. I don't really like it. It's just plain silly xD Even thou, i do it sometimes. Cause i'm suppa borred, on the bus, or at home while i should be studying and everything.
When i had my old phone, i took selfies more often, but not now.
In any cause, i'm a good girl who always do her homework!
So, my tips for making a great selfie....
1. Choose a well-lit area. Good light is an essential element of any photograph, and selfies are no different.
2. Pose with a pretty background. While the bathroom reflected in your bathroom mirror may seem like an acceptably standard background, to take a truly good selfie, try posing with something that people might actually like to see.
3. Watch out for photo-bombers. The standard culprits include younger siblings, crying children, and dogs taking a bathroom break on the lawn behind you. Before you snap your self, take a quick look around to make sure that no one and nothing is lurking in the shadows, waiting to ruin your moment. (And i know about this, cause i love photobombing friends :P)
4. Smile. Maybe smiling for the camera—or camera phone, as the case might be—makes you feel a little silly, but taking a random photo of yourself with your phone is a silly enough action in itself. Trying to look “cool” in a selfie it's pretty much dumb, so don't be shy and show off those pearly whites.
5. Frame the photo well. When taking a selfie of your face, let your face and hair fill up as much of the screen as possible without seeming overwhelming.
6. Take a full-length photo. If you want to show off a great new outfit or a fabulous figure after a diet, you will need to stand in front of a full-length mirror to capture your body from head to toe. In this instance, your face is no longer the focus of the photo.
7. Have fun with filters. Play around with different options before settling on the best one.
8. Be honest when you upload. You just uploaded a selfie. Everyone knows that it's a selfie, and everyone knows you took it so that you can show off your lovely face. When you try fishing for compliments, or try pretending that you were taking a picture of something else and your face just happened to be there, you will not fool anyone...
9. HAVE FUN. It's a fucking photo of your face on a phone. You are not curing the hunger in Africa, so... Be silly, be you.
