i just went outside, its raining cats & dogs out there. i love the rain but the lightening is so loud/close that it just set off a car alarm and freaking out my cats
i slept at my parents house in tempe last night because i had to take my sister to work in north scottsdale at 7:00am, and anyone who knows me knows that mornings and i do not get along. sleeping there was the only way i could guarantee i would actually be up in time to take her.
it was kind of strange sleeping over there considering my bedroom is no longer my bedroom, the spare bed room is full of camping supplies/my sisters house stuff so i had to sleep on the couch.
i get to do drive her to work again tomorrow morning but this time i'm sleeping at home. i had such an awful nights sleep that when i came home to get ready this morning i just went back to bed and didn't make it into work. i can't do that 2 days in a row.

Storm knocks out power to thousands of homes
A fast-moving thunderstorm dropped more than an inch of rain on the Valley Tuesday night, leaving some 1,800 residents in midtown Phoenix without power.
