An entirely different colour palette from the Mediterranean. The turquoise blues and iridescence of Greece is certainly more uplifting but when you are here on the east coast of Scotland it has a wonderful effect too. And I still swim in this sea, at least once a year but it's bitterly cold and you come out blue and white and your skin stinging as if you've been burned! It was such a joy to swim in warm sea for the first time in my life in Agistri. I get a real urge for sea swimming every so often. Now I'm going outside to see if I can see the meteor shower, it should be best at around 11pm and can hopefully be seen at least from Scotland and the North of England.
