I haven't written a decent poem for ages. I can't even knock a decent haiku out at the moment.

I tried reading an anthology of African poetry to get some inspiration but it only served to depress me 'cos the poems in it were so good and I couldn't ever match them.

I think an alternative strategy is needed..................................
