Like everyone else, I'm writing here to proclaim the goodness of Man Man. The San Francisco show at The Independent was fantastic. Milk chocolate jackelopes abound, explosive percussive energy, and falsetto pseudo child-choirs make for a great experience. I'd see them again in a one ventricle heartbeat.
Upcoming shows include The Books, Arcade Fire, and Daft Punk. I'd like to go to the doseone and Yoni show, but I'll have to see if I can afford it. If anyone's interested, we're selling a few Klaxons tickets in favor of Mikee stripping and me kissing in the booth.
Bob Ross was also a great explosion. I'll be cleaning paint out of my hair and personal items for years, but it was well worth it. I think it was a great test run to see how parties will work at the new place. Definatley more to come in the near future.
My brother and my old friend visited in the same week, which did and didn't work out. After it all, I have half a bottle of absinthe, an astroturf gnome, and some bikes to wheel back to their owners.
Starting this weekend I start sex training. In two months I will be a seasoned SF Sex Info switchboard operator. Should be interesting...I have no idea what I have left to learn on this avenue, but eight full days should contain some granule of info I have as of yet unturned.
3:27 PM: Edited to add: Architecture in Helsinki is playing in the city the same night as a fucking wedding that I'm obligated to attend. I've been invited as "Mrs. Michael Landis." What a crock of shit.
