Finished Slouching Towards Bethlehem. I wasn't in love with it until the last few essays. The one on Hawaii, the one on LA during the Santa Ana (winds), and the one on New York were all exceptional. Started Ladders to Fire by Nin. Thus far it is not great. I cleaned off my desk today, and recycled a gigantic number of assignments from this and last semester, and found, for the first time in my life, a girl's phone number on a napkin of whom I have no recollection whatsoever. Sorry "Missi."
