Guinness Stout used to be my go to. For awhile in the '80's I could get Tooth Sheaf Stout from Australia, came in a quart bottle. There was a Belgian Ale from an Abby that was quite good, came in at 9.5% alcohol ( I'd joke that: they had to be some happy monks ). Having had to be Gluten Free since 2000 I've found Glutenberg IPA to be a good option, their Blonde Ale is also good. Enjoy.
