so i woke up yesterday to find that it was raining. no big deal. as the day progressed, however, it started to rain harder. In the late afternoon I went to get money from work. It's like five blocks from my house, but my lazy ass drove there. I was only there for like twenty minutes. As I'm walking out the door to get back to my car, I realize that the rain has become somewhat biblical, and the parking lot is kinda flooded. Well, as I get closer to home, I'm suddenly sitting in a flood. Yup, the sewers began overflowing. Fun fun fun. It took me a good fifteen minutes to get home (it should only take like three). So as I'm sitting there with a little water getting into my car, and my engine getting flooded, I'm thinking "man I wanna swim." So I did what everyone else would do. I swam in the streets around my house. Nothing says fun like swimming in rain water and overflowing sewage.
