There is a story... One time when he was like 9 or 10, we were at a neighborhood bar/pub/cafe for pool tourney, and he was being a dickhead, so I paid these 2 hippy guys 2 beers apiece to hassle him, so I could play without him fucking with me!!! We still laugh about that one to this day!!!
I'd pay for a little jibing, but never for bodily injury...YET!!!
