Can we really do this?

I am meeting my ex today to hang out, go gadget hunting, maybe get some food and just be mates and do matey stuff, and I am wondering if we can really make it. We're both kinda lonely and we found something we really thought we needed in each other. Now we don't have that, just the memories of what was and this huge swirl of emotions, I think.

I dunno. I guess I can't answer this question until I have been there and seen what happens. Will post another blog tonight to let people know how it went. I am secretly optimistic, but I'm not gonna tell myself that as I don't wanna be disappointed. Is it weird to be best mates with your ex? I mean I have heard people being mates with them still, but best mates?
