Oh my goodness, I'm so excited!
Since being made redundant from my stressful (but very well paid) job last December I've been in pretty dire financial straits. I finally managed to get a job in Feb (the famous chocolate shop) which I LOVE but it's minimum wage and I've been struggling to heave myself out of the mess my unemployment got me into.
Then when Mister decided to move to Bude, even more panic set in. Bude's notoriously difficult to find work in and I was terrified that I'd have to support us both on next to no money. He'd not been able to find a job full sotp the entire time he'd been at uni and that was in the city, so I figured chances were pretty slim that he'd have much more luck here. Anyway, I pointed his nose in the direction of a job in the supermarket at the top of my road, and he went for it. AND GOT IT! He started today - just 3 days after moving in!
Then yesterday my boss asked me if I'd be happy to open longer hours and on Mondays (which I normally don't) over the summer months, which is basically an extra 70 a week. Of course, I bit his hand off for the hours! Mister will be working weekends and Mondays anyway, so I figured better to be at work, than at home bored. All I had to do now was find something to do with myself on Sundays.
Then today, I'm in the shop minding my own business and my tattooist strolls in and asks if I fancy doing reception in the studio on Sundays! His wife will be opening up on Sundays during tourist season and needs someone for front of shop. Not only is it extra monies but it's pretty much my dream job! Two dream jobs!
Someone is smiling down on me and my Mister, I reckon![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
