oh yeah I forgot to do a follow up on the "dog walk"
Ok, I picked up my friend Chris and his dog slick (black lab) so it was my beagle Zoey, Slick and Chris (who is every tall) all in my backseat. Slick was crying the whole time because Zoey was stepping on him; slick was a big baby but it was cute. Then we got there (after the long ride through the regular park); it was a large fenced in area for all dogs to run around. Yea, no one was there except us. Well 5 minutes after we got in there and started walking the dogs around, another dog came and well my dog doesn't really like to listen to me, so she ran off after that dog. Two or 3 more dogs came to run around and there was not stopping any of them from running around in the mud! Yes lots and lots of mud. Most of the dogs were big (like labs) and only had mud on their legs and a little on their bellies. No, not my Zoey, not my dog. She decided a few times that instead of going around the big dogs, that she would run under the big dogs, thus she had mud on her legs, belly, butt and BACK! Such a muddy little doggie she was.
It's funny, Zoey is young (like a year and a few months) and she hasn't really played with a group of dogs before, nor does she know how to fetch. So if someone threw their dog a ball or something, all the dogs would run after it, and Zoey didn't know what to do so she just ran after the dogs. haha Then this one dog had a stick and Zoey kept trying to grab it from it. The dog was like double the size of Zoey so I referred to this act like it was "the big kids picking on the little kids, holding up something high so the short kid can't reach it" kind of thing, haha.
So when we were done at the dog park, we took Slick and Zoey to a more snow covered area and Chris proceeded to wash slick off a bit with the snow. I tried to do that with Zoey, but the little fucker doesn't hold still, so a muddy car I had. Chris was nice enough to invite me back to his apartment, and he gave my dog bath. Which he didn't have to do, but it was really nice if him. I owe him one, no matter if he says I don't or not. haha. And then he offered me to stay for pizza, but Zoey and I had to get going.
Fun day: yea
Muddy dogs: yea
Muddy me: yea
Muddy car: yep!
