How cute is this little "battle cap" ($23) from Lip Service
Have spent most of the Easter weekend cocooning. My darling Lee-Boy finally decided to create for himself a profile on MySpace while I managed to finish & submit my 1st commissioned piece (a 2,000 word local investigation) for Marie Claire magazine. We braai'ed (BBQ'd) hamburgers on the balcony with Marc (our architect) & Jolene whilst drawing up the electrical plan for our new house, & watched a LOT of telly. The only time we really left the flat was to go & have a delicious lunch at the Salvation Cafe in the 44 Stanley Ave complex, after which we came home & had a red wine-fueled, candle-lit sex marathon for dessert
Tomorrow I have to get cracking on my 1st column for the June issue of Sawubona magazine. My deadline is the very next day - Wednesday And on Thursday I am doing the photo shoot for my 1st undercover investigative piece about a kinky carwash in suburbia, which will be published in the June issue of Marie Claire. It's all supposed to be very tongue-in-cheek & pseudo-seductive, but I really hope I can pull it off & not look like a complete prat Straight after this I've got to start creating profiles for my models on AT2 (a casting site). And the following week I'll hopefully be able to start the 1st of 4 interviews for my next commissioned piece for Marie Claire.
Life is good But there's no rest for the wicked, it seems
