The gig last night @ Roxy's was awesome. I had gone specifically to see my new friend, Caroline (whom I met through MySpace) play with her band, Running With Scissors. Isn't she totally adorable 
Lee fell in love with the all-girl punk rock band that played before them, who call themselves "Japan and I". Pretty cool name, don't ya think
Afterwards we made our way up the drag to good ol' 24-hour Catz Pyjamas for some much-needed grub to absord some of the beer we had been guzzling for the past few hours. I'm sure I've said so before, but I will say so again - I absolutely ADORE their honey mustard chicken livers!!
As far as the house building goes, I am very glad to report that the foundations are FINALLY under way...
...but the garden is horribly overgrown...
...& apparently our neighbour (from whom we bought the subdivided piece of land) says she's seen a rabbit living on our stand!!
Today I went & bought our tickets for the Guns 'n Roses / Evanescence / Hoobastank concert coming up in April
And inbetween all of this I have been researching my little arse off for the two commissioned Marie Claire stories I am working on, & madly punting my models to all & sundry in the local fashion & advertising industries...No rest for the wicked, it seems
