On Saturday night we went to the Velskoen Drive-in to watch Casino Royale (the new James Bond movie), which was pretty good, followed by a 30-minute stint at Red Room. I simply couldn't bear the stifling heat inside any longer than that, & the place wasn't even that crowded 
Note to self: DO NOT patronise this club again until they have the bloody decency to install a proper air-con system for their paying clientele 
Am getting sooo excited about our upcoming trip to Durbs. We'll be driving down on 23rd Dec, & should be back in Jozi by 5th Jan. Plan on doing lots of catching up with family & friends, & generally just unwinding - sleeping in, lazing round the pool with a good book, going for a long walk along the beach, eating out, shopping, that kind of thing. Hope the weather is nice, & not TOO humid. As you've probably gathered by now, I am not a particularly big fan of anything hot & sticky (unless it's my mom's malva pudding
), because it makes my hair frizz & my makeup run
