Am supposed to be sitting here compiling my proposal presentation to the model agency, but have decided to wake up an hour earlier tomorrow morning & do it with a fresh head instead.
Have spent the WHOLE day sleeping off a Cellardoor / Teazers hangover
Lee, Julian [Lee's business partner] & I got to Horror Caf at around 10pm last night, & after briefly meeting the dark & broody malachi_constant (aka Martin) & his baby-faced DJ partner, Marc, we proceeded to drink a lot of beer & smoke a lot of cigarettes, whilst checking out all the crazy peeps & having our pix taken by the ubiquitous Thunda.com & some chick getting everyone to pose with Cellardoor's mascot, Frank the rabbit.
Just before midnight, Lee & I found ourselves hatching a devilish plan to 'initiate' Julian into the local Teazers culture. [We seem to be doing this rather a lot lately; maybe there's something wrong with us ??] Not surprisingly, our Romanian companion needed little convincing, & we migrated like horny moths up to the neon lights of Rivonia Boulevard. Being the ONLY Romanian speaking patron at the club that night, Julian turned out to be rather a hit with all the resident Romanian strippers. At any one point in the early hours of the morning, you would've found him surrounded by no less than 2 or 3 half-naked young things, all chatting merrily away in their own language about their hometowns & shared experiences. It was quite sweet, really.
Somewhere along the way we also managed to squeeze in 2 separate table dances by 2 lovely Russian lasses , & I ended up taking some drunken pix in the hideously kitsch ladies WC
After rolling into bed at 4:30am, & then wasting the whole day away today, Lee & I have unanimously agreed that we are now nearing the end of our clubbing days. I think for our New Year's resolutions we call it a day...I dunno what it is: most of our mates seem to have outgrown this 'phase' in their lives a long time ago, but for some inexplicable reason we seem to have become rather doddery 'hangers-on' I must be honest, though, I'm still not keen on the idea of actually 'settling down & having kids' [anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm not really 'mother material'], but I would definitely like to start traveling more - both locally & abroad. And, well, I reckon this goal HAS to be incentive enough to tighten one's purse strings when it comes to indiscriminate partying & boozing one's life away...
Oh, well, on that rather sober note I guess it's time for me to be loving & leaving ya! Till next time, my amigos
