Our house smells like HONEY!! 
Perhaps if my name was Pooh I might feel a little differently, but it's not a particularly pleasant smell in large doses, trust me 
It seems a family of bees has made a hive beneath our 1st storey bathroom, & the 'aroma' is seeping up through the bath, shower & basin plugs & wafting right through our downstairs bedroom & even into the lounge & kitchen, UGH!! Guess we're gonna have to make a plan to smoke the little buggers out 
I am hating my current job more & more every day. Loads of reasons, but none that you guys want to hear me whining about, I'm sure
Anyway, the assistant that my boss has hired for me (& whom I had no say in choosing 
) is due to start work with us on 1st Oct, but little do they know I am hoping to be outa there shortly thereafter. At the risk of jinxing things, I may as well spill the beans on the exciting news on the sideline frontI am currently in negotiations for a joint venture with an international model agency (with an office in the US & another in Europe), who will be relocating their Africa head office to Jo'burg from Cape Town in the next couple of months, with CT continuing to faciliate as a satellite branch only. I am REALLY hoping that something is going to come of this - a solid partnership deal, with me running the Jhb office in the capacity of Business Development Manager, or something along those lines. Am meeting with the 2 directors who are flying up to see me & some other possible stakeholders in the next week or so. I think the competition is going to be pretty stiff, so keep your fingers crossed for me, PLEASE 
Tomorrow is Friday, & it couldn't have come sooner. This has been a looooong week. Yesterday morning I had to take November, our hamster, to the vet to sort out a rather manky looking eye infection. He sold me a VERY expensive bottle of (human) eye-drops & if all goes according to plan, she should be back to her old self in a few days. While we were there I also made sure she got a long-overdue pedicure. It might've even been a self-inflicted scratch to her eye that triggered the problem in the first place
Like I said, I am really looking fwd to this w/end. Saturday I'm planning on vegging at home (am desperate for some quiet "me" time). On Sunday I am doing Azzura's makeup & styling for her 1st attempt at a SG set. We'll be going up to Sean Coetzer's place in Pretoria for the shoot. After this Lee & I are going through to a friend, Heather's, 35th birthday party in the evening. Although it's really cool having Monday off (public holiday), it also just means squashing more work into fewer days next week

Today I went online & had a look at the teaser campaign for the upcoming SA Sports Illustrated Swimwear issue, which features a pic & fun personal info about the 10 models who were fortunate enough to be chosen to grace the pages of this prestigious edition of a world famous magazine. Was well pleased to see that Durban girl, Candice Boucher, made the grade
