I think I have decided to call my new car Mafuta, which is Zulu for "fat one"!! I've always given my cars names. First there was Butternut, then Angrboda, & now Mafuta. I think it suits the cute 'n chunky bulldog stance of the MINI Cooper nicely, don't you smile

What do you guys reckon I retro-fit some gull wing doors?? Lee actually imported a vertical door kit from the States a coupla year's back (worth about R15k) , & it's just lying around gathering dust in one of our cupboards somewhere, so it definitely is possible! Do you think it'd look good on my new car, or totally ridiculous?! C'mon, be honest. I respect your opinions wink

that is such a cool car! the doors are pretty neat too. i think it would be cool to have a car like that but with 3 kids it would be a little cramped. i used to watch the F1 races every sunday for a long time until ayrton senna died. he was my favorite driver. i havent seen a race since. how is your site coming along?

I'm not a huge fan of the gullwings. I'm one of those types of guys that really doesn't like to modify a car unless it's to make it faster- all go and no show if you will.

especially on the "old" mini, I don't see it looking all that awesome, but it's all up to you. good luck with it.
