I let my sometimes abrasive personality push people away.  Then I waste a lot of emotional energy trying to keep them in my life.

Aaawww, guys.  I'm feelin' all gushy with the inclusion.  Tell you what - you tell me when I'm holding too tight and I'll just assume that when you're kinda dicks it don't mean anything.  That goes for @catdad, too.
