I'm so confused by this election. How can this nation re-elect Bush? Didn't everyone go out and vote? I saw so many public service announcements targeting various demographics and yet the number of voters didn't really increase by that many newly registered voters.
I actually debated what if any part I wanted in this political system. I almost didn't vote this year. Then I decided that it was the only recourse available to me. It was the only meaningful thing I could do and it's a an amazing opportunity to vote.
I'm not a "liberal wiener". I'm able to look at political issues with an open mind and decide for myself what I want my elected officials to represent. For example, I'm generally against amending our constitution frivolously, in that regard I am conservative. However, there are also a lot of issues where I am quite liberal. Having said that, It's my opinion that George W. Bush is insane. i was actually registered as a republican so You know its not just "Bush Bashing" for the sake of obeying the popular media.
I just don't really see how our nation can survive four more years of this madman. Our doom has been assured
keep the church out of my government.
keep abortion legal
allow gay marriage.
keep the government out of my bedroom.
end the conflict in Iraq
