now playing: Take Me Away Avril Lavigne, Under My Skin
I Hate trying to choose between to competing products.
I got a free copy of Microsoft Money 2006 and I like using financial software to track my income, expenses, and investments. Seemed like a windfall to get this software for free. But then there is Quicken ... I use Turbotax (Also from Intuit, the Company that produces Quicken) so Maybe I want to Use Quicken? Seems liek a shame to pay for functionality that I get for free somewhere else.
I tried and tried to like MS money. I'm sorry to say that MS Money blows major ass.
It looks nicer than Quicken, it has a few features that I really like but in the end Quicken is just beter, with the added bonus that it works well with Turbo tax.
Oh well, there's $52.99 I'll never see again.
Same thing with Antivirus. My ISP provides McAfee for free, but I prefer both Trend and Norton to McAfee. I happen to get Norton System works for free, so it seems logical to alsu use Norton Internet Security. More money. At least my bank gives me a deal on Norton so its not a total loss.
