Oh well. brighter news, I got a copy of Apple iLife '06 and it has "iWeb" as one of its applications. There is a totally lame template that looks as if it's been ripped from the first version of Avril Lavigne's web site. It's so terrible i think that's the one I am going to use. Admittedly i like Avril Lavigne. (everyone has a guilty pleasure come on now ...)
