RICE
1 cup sushi rice, dry
Rinse and drain the rice. Let it sit for one hour. Combine in a saucepan, pot or rice cooker with an equal amount of water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let simmer for 15-25 minutes. Remove from heat and steam for 2-5 minutes. Spread it out in a non-metallic dish with a rice paddle and fan til cool. Sprinkle with...
VINEGAR
3 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tsp sugar
Heat and combine til sugar is dissolved in vinegar.
Now your rice is ready. For the actual sushi you'll need...
1 or more sheets of nori (dried seaweed)
Fillings of your choice, cut into long strips
Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo rolling mat (if you have one -- if not, it'll be a little harder). Wet hands with a mixture of water and rice vinegar and spread rice over the nori. Place your fillings horizontally across one end of the nori and rice. Roll. Using a sharp knife, cut into bite-sized pieces.
Haha, I just made it up as I went along so the quantities of things may not be absolutely perfect. Ideas for fillings:
- cucumber
- avocado
- imitation crab
- shiitake mushroom
- grated carrot

HEY! I will get at it... the next time I see him. I was all gutsy last night and he wasn't at the gym and frankly, I know nothing else about him and therefore cannot go on a mad stalker mission.... not that I would anyways
