Hello SGland! 🥰
How are you guys? I hope you are well 🙌🏼
Many people ask me how was my tongue splitting, so I decided to tell you a little of my experience with this procedure.
Since adolescence, I always thought this body modification was amazing, I always wanted to do it, but never had the opportunity, so I was leaving this desire behind... in the middle of the pandemic, without much to do, I started to spend a lot of time on the internet and stopped to watch some videos of this procedure and my desire came back immediately 😂
I started searching for professionals who do this type of body modification and I found a Bodypiercer in my city that does it, I set a date and went.
Was I scared? Yes, very 😂
But the professional took all the necessary care with me. The procedure is done with anesthesia, the application of the anesthesia is very uncomfortable, but the effect is very fast and soon you no longer feel anything on the tongue. The tongue splitting is done with a scalpel and is very fast, what takes a long time is the stitching procedure for healing. The mouth is open for a long time, which causes a lot of pain in the jaw; this was the part that bothered me the most.
After the procedure, it is necessary to take care with the hygiene of the place and take medicine, the pain was very intense for me in the first days, the medicine helps...
I spent 11 days with the stitches and couldn't eat anything solid, I only took Danone and ate soup when I could. After the 11 days I removed the stitches and from then on it was all joy.
I don't regret doing it, it's something I always wanted and I love, it was worth all the pain. Hahaha
And you, have you ever done or would you like to do any body modification?
