So, I'm not sure where to start. I'm so bad about journaling. I always feel like if I start writing about everyday life that people are just going to be bored. So I've been writing about my modeling. But, I think that's starting to get boring too. I know I get bored reading about nothing but a person's modeling gigs, including my own. So I can just imagine what you guys feel like. So I would like to apologize for that.
Ok, so, I'll move onto everyday life. This weekend was pretty uneventful, though Daniel did give me a very nice flogging on Saturday. We are discovering more and more the things that we enjoy and exploring those likes. It is certainly making things exciting! But I won't go into that.
Work has been nothing but a big ball of frustration these days. Has anyone else out there worked for a small company? Well, I have plenty of whines about that but I won't subject all of you to it. Let's just say that I long to work for a big company these days. One that actually has an HR department. One where you don't get phone calls from the owner or from other people relaying messages from the owner to do things that aren't at all your responsibility. I'm tired of low wages. And tired of higher ups who are making a lot and don't understand why we don't want to work 60 hours a week on what they are paying us. I'm tired of workaholics who make the rest of us who have lives look bad. Etc Etc.
Ugh. The woes of working in a small company.
I do miss working with animals. While that (and working at Victoria's Secret) has been the best jobs I've ever had, I just can't afford to do it. It's sad.
But, on the upside, I am helping to organize an art/performance fundraiser to help raise money for the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief. That should keep me pretty busy.
Oh! We also just finished watching all the episodes of Firefly. Those network bastards! I can't believe that they canceled that show. I'm convinced it had something to do with politics and that someone got pissed off. I can't wait for the movie now. I'm really hoping Sci-Fi figures out that Stargate is starting to go downhill and picks up Joss Weadon to start making new Fireflys. Wouldn't that kick ass?
Ok, enough for now. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
