Well busyness abounds again. The shooting is getting crazy now that summer is almost over and I am finally available. I am trying to keep it manageable. I really don't want to go back to doing 4 shoots a week. To shooting 4 hour shoots after working a full-time job (not to mention working overtime lately). That was very wearing. Though the extra money was nice.
Let's see. Last weekend I had an outdoor shoot at a farm. I think we got some really nice stuff. We shot in a corn maze, on top of hay bales, and in this haunted ghost town (they put it on around Halloween). Yesterday I had a shoot with a new studio mate of ours. He has shot with girly and was interested in working with me. It was also fun and I got this killer vinyl outfit that we will use in upcoming shoots. I can't wait! Upcoming shoots include: outdoors in Estes Park, fine art nudes, fun times with Lance, not to mention some others I'm working on arranging that I won't mention just yet.
The above picture was taken at a group shoot with a local art club. It was a shoot that definitely required a lot of expertise and flexibility as I was the only model working with 8 photographers at the same time. None of the other models in the group showed up and I didn't want to disappoint the photographers who showed up. It is definitely a very different experience working and dividing looks between 8 photographers so that not every shot looks the same. Good practice though. It keeps you on your toes, that's for sure.
Let's see, what else is going on? Sierra is currently sleeping next to my desk. What a rough life being a doggie!
Cleaning is progressing. As our office is moving locations, I've been able to unload a lot of the empty boxes that have been piling up in the laundry room. So I am very happy about that!
All in all, while things are still pretty busy, it is an organized busyness. Not too many unexpected things popping up. And that's just how I like it.
Though I do miss the SGCO crew!
Take care everyone and I hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend!

As for me, I'm not really back. Mostly dedd. In a lousy mood this weekend after having a pretty big fight with an old friend -- one of those friendship-wrecking fights that leaves a pall when it's over, even though there wasn't really any good way of avoiding it. Bleh. Anyway.
Glad to hear you've been keeping busy. Sounds like a crazy schedule. Dunno how you do it.
