Wow, it has been a long time since I've updated. Though, I must say it is pretty cool to see over 40 comments in a journal entry!
Well, the biggest news since I last updated is that I am now Mrs. Daniel R. Kane! DanielK and I got married on August 6th. Then we spent a week in Vegas on our honeymoon.
The wedding turned out to be very nice. A small gathering of Daniel's family and my Mom and siblings were there. Sierra (our dog) was my Maid of Honor. She did such a good job! We tied a corsage on her leg and tied the ring to that. She was much better behaved than the best man. She even posed with us for pictures without us even asking her to.
We wrote our own vows. They were short and sweet and I almost started crying during them. It was hard because words can't really describe how we feel about each other or how much we mean to each other.
Then came Vegas. Holy cow, I didn't know how big the Strip was! I've never been there before and my feet were hurting! We had a lot of fun though. We also went to visit a friend in Huntington Beach and stayed an extra night. While we were there, they were having a red tide. That was awesome! For those who don't know what that is, basically it is an accumulation of these single-celled organisms. When the tides crash at night, they light up in a neon blue. The organisms cause this as it is a defense mechanism. If you stomp on the wet sand, the sand around your feet lights up!
We also did a lot of driving but all in all had an absolutely terrific time.
And I can't begin to describe how happy I am to be Mrs. Daniel Kane
Also, the above picture got cut off when I posted it in my journal. You can see the full picture and two others in my pics folder. These were from a shoot for a motorcycle magazine.
