Just a quick update:
First, I have new pics posted in my profile. I'll be rotating them out routinely so keep checking them out! They are from various local photographers. For more, check out DanielK's journal.
I had a shoot on Saturday and Daniel had two shoots on Sunday. A very busy weekend. My shoot went really well. It was with a photographer I had worked with before, Lance. There are some pics from our last shoot in my pics folders. He's a crazy guy and a ton of fun to work with. We did a lot of new things using a Yoga ball with the lights. I can't wait to see how they turned out.
The shoots on Sunday went really well for Daniel and his models too. I haven't gotten a chance to see the pics yet but I know he will be working nonstop on those for the next few days. The first shoot he did was with DENVER and I have to say, they worked really well together. She did GREAT for never having worked with a photographer before. I know they will have great stuff from this shoot and even better stuff from any consequent shoots.
The second shoot was with another local model. Again, she is new to modeling and did great for being new to it as well. DanielK has a lot of talent, not only in shooting, but also in making the models feel comfortable and relaxed.
A modeling note: To those who have never modeled or done photography, the first time shoot with any photographer (let alone first shoots at all) is always going to turn out pictures that will never be as good as any that come from future shoots. The reason for this is because #1: Both model and photographer are meeting each other for the first time and working together for the first time so both are going to be nervous. #2: The photographer and model are getting to know each other. The photographer is getting to know how to light the model, what angles look best, etc. and the model is learning how the photographer works and what the photographer likes. #3: No matter what, the more experience both photographer and model have, the better the shoots will be.
Have a good night/day everyone!
