This is from another practice shoot we did this past weekend. As you may have read in his journal, I am going through the application process to become an SG. I have been thinking about doing SG for awhile now but wanted to wait until I saw the standards that SG was looking for and how SG was changing. I wanted to get a good feel for what it was going to take and wanted to prepare as fully as I could before making the decision and start the process.

So, they laid off 2 more people at work this past week. Now I'm going to be in charge of two different areas of analysis (at least in the very beginning) as well as deal with the internet marketing of our current properties. Though, this has resulted in a raise (well, a rebalancing of salary anyway) and will result in another raise in the near future. By near future I mean it may happen sometime in the next 3 months with the way my company works.

I've been having ear problems lately. I don't know what the deal is. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to hopefully help. But I've been having problems hearing when I'm even talking on the cell phone. I have often had problems hearing in the past but nothing too bad. Lately it has gotten to the point where I'm noticing so I can't let this go on any longer. Keep your fingers crossed that it's nothing serious and I just need a good cleaning or something minor.

OH!!!! We bought a new couch yesterday!! It gets here on Tuesday! I'm so excited. The chair I usually sit on at home is broken so now I get to sit on something more comfortable. And we got a new tv stand that I put together today. It is a pretty cool little thing from Target. We also got two rugs for the studio (one of them you can see in the picture I just posted). The other rug is this red fur/shag thing. I love it!

Another pimp for Target. They have great fake eyelashes there for really cheap. I had gotten some prior to these that just never worked out really well. We got some new ones a couple of weeks ago that I finally got to use for the picture I just posted and they are great! So, if any of you girls are looking for decent, cheap fake eyelashes, check out Target.

Ok, it's time for me to get to bed. A 45 minute to an hour drive to work in the morning means I need to actually be in bed before now.
