I don't know if it'll help but try not to be angry at your dad. I know he's done wrong and it's awful, but being angry will just make you feel worse. Focus your energy on looking after your mum, if you can.

If you've never read it before, their is a poem called Rainbow Bridge out there somewhere. I burst into tears EVERY time I read it, but it is more of a happy cry now than a sad one. Cause I believe that will happen, and I will get to see my kitties Zack and Leo again there
