blah.. this cold is kicking my ass.. i don't have a fever anymore, but i'm still all congested and stuffy, and my whole body aches.
philly was pretty good. my sister's university is nice, and we got to do a lot of shopping
i didn't get to smoke once tho! and having to spend evey waking moment with my mom and not being stoned once was starting to drive me nuts! but i managed.
working eveyday this week except thursday. unfortunately i have to go to a wake thursday. just found out last night that my boy's uncle died yesterday morning
it's really sad, i met the guy like 3 times, but he was awesome. it's just sad that i'm never going to see him again. marshall's pretty beat up about it too. he's trying to act strong, but i can tell it's killing him.. he was really close with his uncle.
and my friend nick just called me last night to tell me that he's getting shipped out today. well actually flown out, but he's getting sent to afghanastan. he's doing one of those mission thingys like in the movie blackhawk down. i couldn't stop crying becuz he kept saying stuff like, "when i get back i promise to come see your apartment." but there's a 70% chance he's not coming back, and he knows it. he was just trying to look on the bright side for me.. but it just made me cry more.. i tried not to, becuz i knew it would make him feel bad, but i just couldn't help it. he's been one of my best friends since high school..
on a brighter note.. my mom's lending me the money to pay off my credit cards, so i'll be out of debt, finally!!! and i'm swithching my major. thinking about going back in the spring to the ee major was making me so depressed. i hate the classes, and i wasn't happy. so i'm switching it to fine arts, my first love. and i've decided to take the body piercing course at a school here in mass, and then, maybe the summer coming up or next year, i'll take the tattoo course in michigan. so things are starting to fall into place.
money is still tight, but i want to put off getting a second job as long as possible, and with the holiday coming up i know i'll be getting more hours, so i'm just going to stick it out.
