So, today I got featured on the hopeful suicide girls instagram page. I was thrilled. I had lots of lovely comments, all of which i'm grateful for. However a comment about my size was made, which was basically that people are told that being overweight is beautiful, when it isnt.
You know what really isnt beautiful? Having an awful attitude like that. My physical appearance may not be to everyones liking, and so be it. But my weight is something i can change, having a nasty personality isn't. If you don't like the way someone looks, keep it to yourself. There is no need to put someone down over their appearance. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Just think about how scarring your words can be, before you say it. I'm not saying people cant have an opinion, and i'm not saying everyone should love the way everyone looks. But please, you don't know what they may be struggling with, and harsh words can hurt more than you think.
Everyone here has been incredible, and I love you all, the supportive atmosphere is overwhelming. ❤
