Back from Hellboy. Good pulp, but not like a TPB collection.
My fave del Toro movie is still The Devil's Backbone. I think Perlman was perfect for the role. I guess my disappointment comes from the fact that it isn't new. It is meant for newcomers, which is good, but it doesn't do much for a hardcore fan like me.
I guess my imagination is much more demanding.
I am most satisfied when I don't have any expectations, and when I have high expctions I am never satisfied. Need to keep that in mind.
