Just been out for a swim and bike. Only a short one as it's the Half Ironman on Sunday.
I haven't trained enough frown

Also makes it six weeks from the full distance. I think its going to kill me to get over the finish line.

So yesterday I went for a sports massage as when I have been running my legs feel like led.

O my god, is it meant to hurt that much. It's how I imagine being stood on with stilettos would feel. When I got up and walked out I think I looked like I had just crapped myself.

It's been confirmed. I have a place in the UK Ironman 2010

thailand is amazing. we traveled around the southern islands: koh samui, koh phangan, koh tao, and then koh phi phi in the andaman sea.

Samui is nice but nothing hugely special I doubt we'll go there again.

Phangan was stunning. we stayed in the north east of the island and it was so relaxing and peaceful. We were right in the jungle looking out onto this beautiful bay.

Tao was again stunning, we're actually planning on renting a place there for a few months. I definately recommend doing some diving there as the water is crystal clear.

Phi Phi was in peak rainy season but still a great island - I don't think I'd enjoy it in high season as I think it would be far too crowded. and the boat to the island will test anyones stomach.

Back from Indian holiday,
Its so good to be back home. I loved Goa with its relaxing sun drenched beaches and personality's though Mumbai was just so crowded and full of people mithering me constantly.

So the other week my housemate and I completed the 70.3 UK Ironman.

It was my second and Grants first.

We started running back in November when it was still dark, wet, cold and windy. As the time passed the distances we could cover grew from a few hundred yards to a few miles.
