We just bought a waffle iron. I love waffles but never bothered to buy a waffle iron to make them. So I made my first batch of waffles tonight for me and the kids. Unfortunately I failed to realize that making waffles is not as easy as I remember it being when my parents made them! I didn't pour enough batter for the first batch, and I only saved 3/4 of the second batch because I didn't use enough oil. But the third batch turned out pretty good. It made a huge fucking mess, but oh well, waffles rule.
