So all state buildings have to fly their flags at half mast because the Pope died? That's a bit fucked up. Maybe if he did something good like reverse the Church's stance on contraceptives so as to reduce the spread of AIDS in Africa... or not cover up child abuse.. oh well, there's hope for the next one I guess.

Yeah the pope was 83, I think. That is a pretty long life. I don't get why people that never even met him are crying. The only strangers I cry for are children though. I can't cry for grown-up, especially when they are older than dirt anyways.
