Transition
Everything, so it seems, is in a period of slow transition. The shelves and walls of our rented home get more bare with each passing day, leaving only skeletal shelves to as decoration. We are gradually distancing ourselves from our neighborhood and trying to get ready for the changes that moving will bring. We will have our own space, but longer drives. We’ll have more room, but less access to the cultural amenities that have made Sunnyside a great place to live.
We drove by the house the other day, to show it off to danaide's family and to see it with the yard stripped bare of snow. Imagine our surprise to find a massive swath of dirt on our lawn, a great bald square five feet by five feet that marred the whole yard. We have bought the pit of DOOM!
We were a bit upset by it, so we contact our realtor, who contacted their realtor who contacted them. It turns out that ATCO had to dig last November and all should be well by the time we move in. Fingers are crossed.
I went out with typewriterlover last night, to give Danaide some room to work. Our plans were to do things that involve explosions. Play Car Wars,
Watch Babylon 5,
maybe watch the chaos of the Red Mile should the Flames win.
Oddly, none of these plans came to fruition. Instead we watched odd little Internet videos involving rabbits,
golf ball retrievers
and Turks.
Not all at the same time.
Beyond that there is not much to say.
However, in the theme of Transformation, if you could change, at will, into any machine, what machine would it be?

and well, no brainer. i'd transfrom into Megatron. and not to sound like a total dork but Beast Wars: Transmetal Megatron. When he's still a T-rex with roller skates, before the red dragon.
