So, went back to the doc. Told her that the T3s were doing squat, which they mostly were, and asked, as was suggested, for Tramacet.
I'm intrigued by the meds. I can't say for certain if they help incredibly so, but I'm willing to give it a try. I'd prefer not to move onto oxy, for multiple reasons. First, it doesn't really help me that much and second, it's hard as hell to get. All scripts need to be filled 24 hours in advance, and each one needs a new prescription.
Tramacet can be done over the phone and isn't considered controlled like Oxy is.
Worst case scenario is that this doesn't help. THEN I can look at moving up. It just sucks, my doc is easily 30 minutes away and it's a pain to get there just to deal with this, especially because the car rides HURT.
I still don't know what I'm going to do about work. I can't sit for more than 20 minutes without being in pain, and standing is just as bad. But I hold my pride pretty high when it comes to work, so the thought of me being off indefinitely isn't a comforting thought, just because I know I'll be judged...
But I have to do what's best...
PAX is, 100%, off this year. I was going to go down with the girls and just go sit when it got too much, but I can't even risk that. Maybe I'll get the hip replacement and can go off to do things next year. Who knows.
Ugh. Tired, going to sit now. Thankfully the kids are coloring multiple things. Muppet Babies, Tiny Toons, Jessica Rabbit and Tweety Bird.
Fun times.

Riding in the car (or driving stick!) is sooooo difficult with OA
I'm so sorry to hear that you won't be going to PAX. Next year we'll go and we'll have matching House canes! I'm actually thinking of making a decoupaged comic page cane for myself out of an ugly wooden one. I figure, if I have to use a cane, it might as well be badass
And thank you...that was the first picture we ever took together
