Bah.

The Canucks lost last night

It was quite a good game. Hockey is the only "sport" that I can enjoy watching. I don't have time for football, either kind, baseball or basketball (outside of the glory days that the Bulls had), but Hockey I enjoy.

Maybe it's something that just seeps into your body when living in Canada? I certainly didn't care about it before coming here, and of course my interest is always piqued come Olympic hockey, so getting to go to a game, and getting to go for flippin FREE. Awesome.

The seats were great. Behind home net for 2 periods, 7 rows up, hot!

I also got to see, and this I guess is the joy of being a dad, a super cute little kid in a "fin" outfit dancing with the real Fin mascot. That and hearing a little boy behind me yelling "Go Canucks!" made the game, even though we lost... in a shootout.

Apparently I'm so far out of hockey culture that I didn't realize there are no ties, but that every game ends in a shootout...

Ah well, it could have been worse. This was their 301st consecutive sellout. WTF? Holy crap. I need season tickets so bad
