Do you believe in ghosts? I think I do. I used to love scaring the crap outta myself when I was a little kid but I really haven't done that in years, and so I really didn't think about ghosts for a while. But this morning, I woke up before my alarm woke me and I looked to my left where a poster of the galaxies hangs, and there, coming out from the wall was the torso of a man. He was an older black man with big glasses and a dark blue plaid shirt, and he was looking past me to the opposite corner of my room. I just stared in awe for what felt like hours until he looked at me. And when he did he smiled. I was dumbfounded, but I smiled back and all I could do was turn my head, close my eyes and think: Did I really just see that? I didn't dare look again. I thought I might freak out if I did. And I thought the ghost would then know I was scared, and that wouldn't be a good thing. I thought maybe if I just pretended seeing people hovering through walls was normal he'd think I was cool and leave me alone. Was he really there? Or am I just having really vivid hallucinations? Either way something's off.

People experience the spiritual world in different ways, as with everything. My most reacent experience happened a few months a go in a little town in Indiana. The is an old Vaudiville stage there and after a recent performance (the towns civic theatre now resides there) a friend of mine who runs the place was showing me photos he had just taken of the performance on his digital camera. "Take a look at this," he said. On several of the pics there was a blue sphere...quite unlike a flash or lens flare. We talked for a moment about it and he explained that some "ghost chasers" had reacently swept the place and found a whold bunch of these in the crawl space upstairs. We immediatly went for a look. Now the weird thing about these spirits is that they appear as orbs only in photography. So, in the crawl space, he took a photo...and oh my god...there were at least a hundred of them. Some blue, some white, some red. I'd never seen anything like it. But, to the naked eye, you could see nothing. Yea, I believe in ghosts, because they believe in me and I believe in you!
